West Ham have confirmed that Bowen sustained a fractured foot during the club's dismal 5-0 defeat to Liverpool. The news comes as a significant blow, with Jack Rosser of suggesting that he could be out for up to two months.

Lopetegui has struggled throughout his time at the London Stadium and his side sit eight points clear of the relegation zone. Bowen has scored five goals and registered four assists in 19 games. The Hammers have also been rocked by Michail Antonio's injury; the Jamaica international has been discharged from hospital after a horror car accident.

WHAT WEST HAM SAID

In a statement on Tuesday, West Ham said: "West Ham United can confirm Jarrod Bowen sustained a fractured foot injury in Sunday’s Premier League fixture against Liverpool.

"The injury to his left foot, picked up in the first half at London Stadium, will sideline the Hammers captain heading into the New Year."
