Trusty suffered relegation with Sheffield in his first season at the club after joining on a permanent transfer from Arsenal last summer. The U.S. international is looking for a bounce-back season with the Blades, hoping to find himself in the mix with the U.S. national team, while also helping his club secure promotion back to the Premier League.

Trusty last appeared for the USMNT in 2023. He has two senior caps.
