The modding scene in Baldur’s Gate 3 is rampant. While not quite as big as those in the Elder Scrolls or Fallout communities, Larian’s 2023 modern classic has received over 14,000 pieces of fan-made content in a little over two years.
But while PC players feast, console players aren’t so lucky. They are left in the very capable hands of Larian, which hand-curates every mod that makes its way to Xbox and PlayStation, but it means the process is a lot slower.
There have been a handful of drops over the last few months, including one that allowed players to turn into a werewolf, one that let them turn into a cat, and another that added a concept art version of a fan-favorite character, but it’s been quiet recently.
That was until now, as Larian has just added another 29 (!!) new console mods, in one of its biggest drops yet.

- Better Starting Gear For Lae’zel – Changes Lae’zel’s starting equipment.

While many of these mods are fairly shallow, adding nothing more than a few extra customization options, some of the fundamental gameplay changes seem great, and the Dragontamer class seems like a must-play for any new playthrough.
